I asked Michael to help re-train me on writing blogs. So he immediately set to work to make this blogging area for the whole family. He is amazing that way. Thank you, honey.  I feel nervous and excited to start sharing my thoughts publicly. There are so many clever people out there blogging that sometimes one feels inadequate. But I know those that care about me just want to hear from me.

Jessica and family are being happy campers in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She has a great attitude about living life as a mother of 3 in a yurt on a state beach. Dave has been hitting the pavement looking for work. Yesterday he put in 13 applications!!  That is a lot and very admirable! Every one say a little prayer that they find a great job for Dave! Jessica says the kids are loving the beach...well, after they got over the initial "eww" factor of the sand!  Just like their mommy. When Jessica was 18 mos., we went to the beach and she couldn't stand the sand between her toes. She insisted on having us carry her everywhere! While Ali, same age-ish, loved the sand and would roll around in it!  Jessica related that Poppy said, "Gwoss, dirty!" And was upset the sand wouldn't come off. Very funny!

Adam started BYU yesterday. I was so proud of him! He is still working basically full-time from 10 pm to 6 am Monday through Thursday. He gets off work and heads to school and then comes home and sleeps. He is excited for this new adventure and I just want him to have a great experience. He loves it so far (2 days worth!)

Haily is a Junior and an art genius. She is busy going to the final rehearsals for "Out of the Frying Pan"-which she has a bit part in, keeping up with Chemistry homework-which she is sure is going to be her toughest class, being a buddy in the Special Needs Mutual program, and figuring out what she wants her focus to be in AP Art.

Aaron loves being a 9th grader. This summer he shot up like a weed and is the same height as Haily and creeping up on Adam. He just tried out for the junior high play, "Beauty and the Beast", which will keep him busy after school. He still loves basketball and all sports. He is determined to get straight A's this year, and I am all for it!

Michael and I are proud parents and are grateful for the many blessings we keep receiving!
